-
- Announcing three ALL-NEW Apogee games:
-
- * Commander Keen in "Goodbye Galaxy" (both EGA/VGA & CGA)
- * Paganitzu (EGA/VGA)
- * Crystal Caves (EGA/VGA)
-
- NEW GAME DESCRIPTIONS:
- * First, the long-awaited sequel to the shareware super hit
- Commander Keen in "Invasion of the Vorticons" has finally been
- released, after a full year in the making. The sequel, "Goodbye
- Galaxy", has over five times the graphics and animation as appeared
- in the original Keen games. Other exciting features include:
- tilted-view levels (giving a 3D appearance), Ad Lib music and sound
- effects, 1.6 MEGs graphics, three difficulty levels, and non-stop
- action galore!
-
- In "Goodbye Galaxy", kid genius Billy Blaze must save the Galaxy
- from an invading alien race. This game pushes the boundary of
- smooth scrolling, full-screen animation to limits never before seen
- on an IBM PC. Never has an IBM PC so perfectly duplicated the
- amazing animation once reserved for Nintendo and Sega Genesis home
- gaming systems.

- Published by Apogee, created by Id Software.
-
- * Crystal Caves is a smaller game that is very similar to the
- original Commander Keen game. But Crystal Caves is also packed
- with graphics, and also features the smoothest animation ever seen
- in an Apogee game. You'll encounter an endless variety of levels,
- hazards, creatures and graphics. In some levels you'll even be up-
- side-down due to the reversed gravity!

-
- * Paganitzu is a new type of game from Apogee. As Alabama Smith,
- you play an intrepid treasure seeker akin to Indiana Jones. You'll
- explore an ancient Aztec pyramid, full of puzzling traps, hideous
- creatures and treasure beyond belief. But along the way, you
- release a spirit who's bent on claiming revenge--can you survive
- this danger-packed graphics adventure.
-
- Paganitzu has the longest cinematic ending ever seen in a shareware
- game, but you must survive to see it! Also featured is great
- animated, arcade action, but with an emphasize on solving
- diabolical puzzles within the vast pyramid.

- THE FUTURE OF APOGEE:
- We've recently hired two more people, and the total number of
- Apogee staff, authors and associates now totals 30 people.
-
- Apogee continues to improve upon its software technology, which in
- many areas already leads the entire gaming industry, commercial and
- otherwise. Commander Keen in "Goodbye Galaxy" is the first of many
- coming releases using software technology that breaks new ground.
-
- Very Sincerely,
- Scott Miller, President
